3. Main is sitting on the stump, just out of camera sight. Fill is camera left, way back and up a tree. Rim is on the opposite side of the stump, up a tree a bit and with a red gel on it. Thanks!

A valid point. Most single ring setups will warrant either a bash ring on the outside or a bash plate on the chainguide. I don't think this would survive bare rock smashing due to all the intricate machine work.

Great comment on The Stuntsonian article. Every time I run across a slow and technical "steep and deep" trail I'm thankful I was able to cut my teeth at Hick Park and the Pee Wee's stunts back in the day.
